Special Needs Dogs ... "SPONSOR ONLY"
These are our "special needs" dogs. They are sweet, but have a need that must be met. They are all very
good, well behaved dogs who deserve the best life we can provide for them Are you willing to help a
special needs dog? None of the dogs on this page are available for adoption. Hubbards Hounds will be
responsible for them for the rest of their lives. If you sponsor one of these sweeties, you will receive a
t-shirt with the Hubbards Hounds Saving lives one dog at a time picture on it, a 5x7 picture of your
sponsored dog and a personal letter about your sponsored dog.

Meet RIVER
River is a 8-10 year old Black/tan cocker spaniel who is blind due to improper care and cataracts. He is a sweet, sweet dog and loves
attention. He gets around very well as soon as he learns the layout of his surroundings. He loves his foster home and especially "his" little
girl, Jazzy. Problem is, he can be a little destructive trying to get to her and has ruined a few things in his foster home. Hubbards Hounds
pulled River to save him from death and we will always keep him, but he is getting expensive for everyone concerned. Can you help to
sponsor River so we can help to replace some of the items he has damaged????
UPDATE 7/10: Circumstances have changed and we are being forced to move River from his forever foster home. Does ANYONE
with kids have a place for this senior boy? WE will be forced to make a very tough decision for him if we can't find placement as he
goes into a deep depression when he doesn't have "his girl". It is a long shot, but if we can find him a home with a young girl who
loves him, he may be ok. He is blind and he can be a bit of a pill so he does need someone who is home alot or where he can be
confined to a dog proof room while he is alone. Although his age is senior, his behavior is puppy!

TRESSA
This is Tressa who was just recently relinquished from a puppy
mill. We were told she was 6-8 years old, but our vet feels she is
at least 12 years old. She just had surgery to remove most of her
teeth and she was spayed and had all her shots. She is in long
term foster care and will live out her life with Grace, a mature
woman who just loves her. Hubbards Hounds is committed to
giving this girl the best care we can and to let her live out her life
with dignity and love. If you would like to help in the process and

MOE
Moe is a puppy mill release also. Moe has been a fear biter
until she settled into her permanent foster home. We cannot
adopt her out as we are afraid she will bite again and deemed
aggressive, which she is not. She has just been treated so
poorly that she is afraid and is protecting herself. She is very
happy in her foster home with Cindy and Corrie who have
agreed to forever foster her so she is safe. Moe will
permanently be Hubbards Hounds responsiblity. She was just
in to the Dr for a bad anal gland infection and her bills were over
$300, can you help?
