River is a 8-10 year old Black/tan cocker spaniel who is blind due to improper care and cataracts. He is a sweet, sweet dog and loves attention. He gets around very well as soon as he learns the layout of his surroundings. He loves his foster home and especially "his" little girl, Jazzy. Problem is, he can be a little destructive trying to get to her and has ruined a few things in his foster home. Hubbards Hounds pulled River to save him from death and we will always keep him, but he is getting expensive for everyone concerned. This is Tressa who was just recently relinguished from a puppy mill. We were told she was 6-8 years old, but our vet feels she is at least 12 years old. She just had surgery to remove most of her teeth and she was spayed and had all her shots. She is in long term foster care and will live out her life with Grace, a mature woman who just loves her. Hubbards Hounds is committed to giving this girl the best care we can and to let her live out her life with dignity and love. Wally, a shih tzu who was severely traumatized by the puppy mill he lived in will need lifetime care. Right now, he is in a foster home with the hopes he will someday be well enough to be adopted, but at this point, we are not sure. He is not an old dog, but his days in the puppy mill stunted him emotionally and he is still pretty scared. Up until recently, he would poop or pee on anyone who tried to pick him up. Joycie is another overbred, 10 year old dog who just wants peace and quiet to live out her life. She is comfortable in her foster home and will loves her foster Mom to pieces. She can never be adopted because of her heart condition which makesw in impossible for her to be spayed. She could die on the table.

Moe is a puppy mill release also. Moe has been a fear biter until she settled into her permanent foster home. We cannot adopt her out as we are afraid she will bite again and deemed aggressive, which she is not. She has just been treated so poorly that she is afraid and is protecting herself. She is very happy in her foster home with Cindy and Corrie who have agreed to forever foster her so she is safe. Moe will permanently be Hubbards Hounds responsiblity. She was just in to the Dr for a bad anal gland infection and her bills were over $300, can you help?
