HELP FOR RUBY

Please help Ruby, she is a puppy mill baby that was given up because of a heart murmur. Bad news at her vet appointment this morning, she needs an operation immediately. Any help you can give to this baby will be greatly appreciated.

UPDATE: Ruby had her surgery yesterday, May 15th and did WONDERFUL. She was able to have the less invasive surgery and she is already home this morning. A HUGE thank you to the Doctors, vet techs, students and all at CORNELL VET HOSPITAL for doing such a wonderful job taking care of this precious doll baby!!

Ruby has gone home with her new family. Lucille, the 9-10 year old cocker who was a forever foster has gone with her. Ruby and Lucille are joining a home with Amanda, Gary, and Betsy who is another rescue dog. They will be one big happy family!

    This is Ruby, a cocker spaniel mix who is only 4-5 months old. She has a heart murmur that is so bad she needs surgery to correct it. We are a new rescue and do not have the funds to pay for this operation, but we can't let Ruby DIE. Please help in any amount you can, Ruby can live a long and healthy life with this operation! Her operation is expected to cost approximately $2500 to $4000 depending on the procedure used (this is new info from dropping her off tonight at Cornell).
