This is a continuation of our Happenings Page, read all about adoptions and news right HERE!

Week of May 26-June 1st:

This has been a busy week for Hubbards Hounds. We took in 26 dogs from various places who all arrived on Thursday night. Thankfully, all our foster parents stepped up to help get them settled and take some home. We had several puppies and many of them went to foster homes.

We have had several adoptions this week too. Foster's new parents drove all the way from CT to pick him up on Saturday. Twix and Neela went home today and Star Bucks has been adopted and will go home as soon as he has the Big neuter in a couple weeks. All in all it was a great week for adoptions.

Week of June 2 - June 9th:

Well, I guess I got a little behind this week. We have been very busy with all the new happenings. We took in Sapphire who is a 9 year old husky who needed a new home. She is very sweet. We have also been very busy with vetting, getting everyone all the shots and alters that are needed so adoptions can begin! Adoptions that happened this week: Dot went home to be with her new family and will have a new Mom and Dad, a human brother and a 4 legged brother. She couldn't be happier in her new home.

June 9 - June 15

Another very busy week for Hubbards Hounds. Several of the dogs went in for spays and neuters as well as shots. We took in Brady who is a 5 month old Bassett hound, sweet as can be. We had several adoptions: Alley who is now called Zenchi went home to her new family. Maggie Mae will go home on Sunday to her new family. Starbucks left Saturday with his new family. One of our foster Mom's decided to adopt one of the lab/terrier puppies in her care and the other one will go home with Brian shortly. All in all, it has been another wonderful week at Hubbards Hounds!

June 16 - June 22

This week has started right out with a bang. Jazzy went home with Julia, Andrew, and Lexi and they were all excited. Dexter has been adopted and will go home in 2 weeks after his neuter. We also have a couple good prospects on Brady who will hopefully go home soon. Sapphire is having surgery this morning for some very bad teeth. She is also going to have a lump that was found checked out so lets hope for the best for my big gal. Dexter had his neuter yesterday and everything went wonderful. Melanie adopted Maggie Mae who went home and is doing wonderful. Sapphire came through surgery wonderful and is doing great. She is becoming quite attached to foster Mom though. Jacey went home with Deb on Saturday and it was a match made in heaven for her and her dog Gryphon. They have become fast friends after a short period of adjustment.

July 7 - July 31st:

Well, we have obviously been very busy as not too much has been written lately. The rest of the puppies have all gone home from the original 6 pups: Abby, Mason, Hazel, and KC all have new, wonderful homes. Brady also went home to his new home and is doing great. Carlos went to a wonderful home with a young brother who he can play with. Rex, who is a lab/catahoula mix went home just a day after arriving in NY from a shelter in TN where he was going to be euthanized the following day. He has two young sisters and loves them to pieces. Lab mixes Gilby, Gordy, and Gertie all went to wonderful homes also, they came on the same transport as Rex. We had also gotten Tommy and Tiny from the same transport who are also adopted. We took in Scotch from a local woman who didn't have enough time for him. He is being neutered and brought up to date on his shots on Aug 7th.

Aug 1 - Aug 13:

It has been another busy couple weeks. We have had several great adoptions. Pumpkin went home with Ellery, Angel Pie went home with Jenn and Tim, and Kallie went home to live with Tim and Jenn (not the same couple).
