Sparkle is a young lab/greyhound mix who
is just as sweet as she can be. She is
somewhat shy, but is coming out of her
shell. She was found with a castrating
band around her tail which had to be
amputated and was very painful. She now
has a docked tail which is no big deal, but
we feel she was abused in other ways
also. She doesn't like any raised voice at
all so even if I yell to the others to come in,
she cowers like she is in trouble. She is
starting to play like a young dog should,
loves to run in the yard and is starting to
gain some weight as we could see every
rib and she was skin and bones. She is
spayed, up to date with shots, and HW
negative. She will be microchipped before
adoption.
Sparkle went home 5/2011 with her forever family! She will have a human brother to play with and a huge
fenced in yard! Her Mom is a teacher who has the summer off so she will get plenty of attention and have
lots of time to adjust! She loves playing now and will be great with a young man to grow up with!
