This is Smokey who is 8 weeks old,
neutered, up to date with shots, and
microchipped. He is a border
collie/lab mix and is always looking
for one of his siblings to play with!
He is very social and loves people!

UPDATE ON SMOKEY (NOW SPOTTY) 12/2011:
We all enjoyed our first Christmas with Spot. We also
learned he doesn’t really want a new bed (because he
ate it… lol) He continues to grow into a wonderful boy.
He’s very smart and easy to train, with an charming
personality. He puts our daughters to bed each night,
laying with them until they’re asleep and then coming
back down for grownup snuggles. He already has
basic commands down, which got tested when he
somehow tripped the latch of his leash on a walk. I
called him back and he came, crisis averted! He is still
a very bouncy guy and does not like “off” one bit, but he
does know it… don’t be fooled!
We suspect he has some Pit Bull in him because of
the face and musculature, and his back is showing
some suspiciously Dalmation-like spots. He’s
definitely strongly working breed, because this is a
dog who needs a master and a job! We call him a
Dalmuttion, and he goes perfectly with our Rottweagle
(also a rescue.) Whatever he is, we love him. Thanks!
