Odie went home with a wonderful family 6/10 (despite my strong desire to make him my own).
These folks were just wonderful and I had a nice time talking with them while they were here. Odie
will have a Standard Dachshund brother named Wilbur at home to play with. Odie was only with
me since May 4th, but I sure did fall head-over-heels for him. I know they were the right ones for
him, but I am going to miss him a lot.
Odie was adopted or "purchased" by an
uninformed person. He came from an
Oklahoma commercial breeder, who shipped
him to his new owner in NY.
Unfortunately, the breeder failed to mention
that Odie had been kept in a cage for the first
10 months of his life. As a result, Odie is a shy
boy, who takes quite a while to warm up to
anyone. He prefers women to men. He loves
other dogs and cats. He is a tiny boy, weighing
about 9 lbs. He is housebroken, neutered,
microchipped, HW tested, and overall
completely healthy. Odie just turned 1 yr old on
May 5th.
