UPDATE 6/2010:
Just wanted to share a fun tale about Faith, formerly Lita. We have had her for a year in Feb. and she is
doing so well. She didn't bark for about 6 months then barked and scared herself. The only thing she
barks at is when the kids come home from school and go up or down the stairs. I am bed ridden some
days so she is a wonderful companion. The other dog, Hope barks when everyone else comes and
goes.
A few weeks ago Friday nite, all kids were is bed by midnite. 18 yo and 16 yo have work must get up. The
15 yo boy went to bed midnite but around 12:15 Faith began to bark. I woke up to hear Mark going down
the stairs. Waited 10 min didn't come back up. Went down but he wasn't in the house. Called nearby
friends house friends bed had blankets rolled up but no John. Both houses got up and went looking,
found them about 10 min later at the school playing soccer around the corner.
Both boys were severely reprimanded and were given hard labor chores at the church. Yard looks
wonderful now. Faith was rewarded with real turkey slices Hope got some too. John's family never liked
dogs before but now comes over and gives Faith treats. The boys could have gotten hurt or worse. We
are so thankful for Faith and she is never told shh just good girl! We thank God you placed her with us.
Who knew when we got the scared little girl she would be such a big part of our life. Thank you for the
work you do and we keep spreading the news to anyone who is considering getting a dog.
