Dallas is a cocker/pom mix who, unfortunately,
was scared to death. But she has recently
come a long way since she was released from
the puppy mill. At first she was too frightened to
do anything but hide. In the past few weeks,
she has taken giant steps forward and shows
signs that she is open to more new things.
Dallas has learned to trust a bit now, will come
when called, likes to lie nearby, goes outside
in a fenced yard.
Even though Dallas has been through a lot,
she shows no signs of aggression, and has
never bitten, even in fear. She gets along with
other dogs, ignores the cats, and loves to have
her ears rubbed.

Her coat is thick and silky. She is still easily startled by sudden sound or movement, but she doesn't
scramble away to her corner as she used to do. Instead, she jumps back quickly, but returns when she
decides there is no threat. She will eat when I'm present, and has been seen with a toy or two. She isn't
sure what they are for, but she will gather them up as if to say "As soon as I know what to do with them, I'm
going to have a lot of fun".
Dallas needs patient, loving care from someone who understands what a brave girl she is for coming as far
as she has. She is about 3 years old and is spayed, up to date with shots, microchipped, and HW tested.
Dallas went to her forever home
10/10 with John and Cync. Dallas
is a mill dog who has been with
us for a long time and needed just
the perfect family. John and Cync
have experience with special
dogs and we feel they will be
great with Dallas. She seems
comfortable there. She has two
furry siblings, a nice fenced in
yard, and lots of toys to play with!
