This is Copper! She is a 50 lb, 5-year old
basset hound mix with a heart of gold.
She is a gorgeous girl, copper fur and big
brown eyes--pictures don’t do her justice!
She was a rescue from the KY/OH area
because the shelter mistakenly thought
she was pregnant. She loves all people
and dogs (but seems a little too interested
in chasing cats!) She wants nothing more
than to curl up next to you and gaze
adoringly into your eyes or fall asleep at
your feet.  While she is a mellow girl most
of the time, she LOVES  to play with her
doggie foster brother and the two of them
have a blast together!
She is extremely eager to please and easy going—when in doubt, just she rolls over onto her back for
tummy rubs.    If you are looking for an easy-going dog that will get along with anyone and everyone and
loves to cuddle, Copper is the dog for you!  She is up to date on shots, microchipped and HW negative
.

Copper went home with Nina and her son 7/2011. Copper has a big fenced in area to play with her new
playmate. They are getting along great and have been sleeping together.
