CAITLYN / PENNY
Caitlyn is an 8 week old doxie/shepherd mix who is just
as sweet as can be. She came to us from another rescue
who didn't have room for her and her siblings. She has
little short legs and a long body like a Doxie, but the
coloring like a shepherd.
Caitlyn found her FUR-EVER home May 2010 and her new
name is Penny!

UPDATE FROM PENNY'S NEW FAMILY 5/10
Hi! All is well here with Penny. We've gotten her out to meet
people and she is doing great. Everyone who meets her
falls in love. We took her to the vet yesterday for a check-up
and 2nd set of shots. She didn't want to play with the other
dogs there, just observe. To be fair they were all bigger than
her and a little too eager to say hi. She did great during the
check-up, even clipped her nails. The vet and nurse loved
her. The nurse said she has a wonderful temperament. She
loves walks and cuddling. She sleeps in a puppy bed next
to us and stays in it the whole night. The pics attached are
so sweet. One is her blanket. I put it out so her bone
wouldn't constantly slide while chewing. Every treat, toy, or
item she likes gets dragged to the blanket. Its so cute! The
other pic I was on the computer and she was in my lap
watching me type and she fell asleep like that. So cute! We
love her! Thanks again!

I just love this picture!! It is so great getting updates on the dogs I fostered. Nothing
makes my day more than to see how happy we have made another dog that could have
been put to sleep in a shelter. Now look at her happy, loved and a life ahead of her.
