April is a Boxer/sharpi mix spayed female, about 9
months old. Potty trained, doggy door trained and a
sweetheart. Playful, loving and likes to sleep in the big
bed or with another dog. Walks well on a leash and
loves to go for walks. Gives great kisses and loves to
play with tennis balls. No food aggression and gets
along real well with all animals. She loves kids.
April was adopted 6/2011 by the Austin family! She will
have a 5 yr old canine brother named Simon and 4
feline siblings. Simon has been missing his sister, who
had come from a puppy mill and a life of abuse just like
him and had passed away last year. He really missed
his sister so the family decided he needed a playmate
and started looking for another rescue dog. April and
Simon hit if off right away and April did fine with the
rescue cats when they arrived back home too. From the
updates we have received, April follows her new Mom all
over and her new Mom is loving it! Another match made
in heaven for Hubbards Hounds!
